Pangandaran Nature Reserve is a protected forest area that’s home to deer, long-tailed macaques, and various other wildlife you can see roaming freely in their natural habitat. The trekking trails are fairly relaxed, making it suitable for families and groups who want to experience Pangandaran’s tropical forest up close.

Besides the wildlife, this area also connects to other spots such as Gua Jepang and Gua Parat, so it can be combined into a more complete nature reserve exploration itinerary.
